The Complete Fat Loss Guide!!

After over two years of pouring our blood, sweat, and tears into “The Complete Fat Loss Guide,” it is finally done!

Get it now!

It’s Leg Day!!!

Leg exercises are my favorite!!  Maybe I’m some sadistic asshole, but I do love it. From the pain, sweat, possible tears to the next day’s soreness, and walking like a baby deer barely able to sit on the toilet. I’m the living incarnation of Buddy, the elf’s famous meme.

Add these leg day exercises to your weightloss workout plan for the ultimate leg workout. These leg toning exercises are great for quick at home workouts and require minimal to no equipment. These leg strengthening exercises will help you lose weight and lose body fat #workoutsforwomen #howtoloseweightfast #lunges #Doublechinburgers

Since I’m a lot more “zen” now thanks to meditating every day,  I decided to share some of my favorite leg exercises that you can perform at home with minimal equipment. Because who has time to drive to the gym and wait for some dude to stop texting on the squat rack? No, I wouldn’t grab their phone, and throw it against the wall…and, no, I totally wouldn’t laugh my ass off as they cry their eyes out… Ok, maybe I’m not that “zen” yet, but I promise you I’m getting there.

Without further ado, here are some of my favorite leg exercises:

1. Bulgarian Split Squat

One of my favorite exercises ever. The Bulgarian split squat is an excellent exercise for developing your leg muscles and targeting your core. This exercise can be performed anywhere, especially if there’s not a lot of equipment. All you need is a place to elevate your foot. That’s it. You don’t even need weights to make this exercise feel like you are going through hell, or maybe more like crawling through hell because you won’t be able to walk once you finish with this exercise.

Muscles targeted

  • Quads
  • Hamstrings
  • Calves
  • Glutes
  • Core

Tips

  • Don’t allow your front knee to cave inward as you go down!!

2. Lateral Lunges

The main reason I like the lateral lunge so much is that it allows me to work on a different plane of motion (side to side) instead of the usual front and back of most leg exercises. This exercise creates balance and stability, preventing future injuries.

Muscles targeted

  • Quads
  • Adductor
  • Abductors
  • Glutes
  • hamstrings

Tips

  • Don’t allow your knees to travel past your toes.
  • Keep your chest up and core tight.

3. Single-leg deadlift

I’ve been doing this exercise for years, and it has seriously helped me with not only balance and stability but also with my booty goals…wait, what? A guy needs to have a nice butt too, ladies. (Yes he does-Melissa’s two cents). The single-leg deadlift is another exercise that can be performed anywhere as you need zero equipment. Still, the single-leg deadlift is a great exercise, and I guarantee your butt pump will be insane.

Muscles Worked

  • Hamstrings
  • Core
  • Glutes

Tips

  • Keep your core engaged and back in a neutral position. Do not round your back.
  • Squeeze your glute at the top of the movement.
  • Don’t allow your knee to travel inward.

4. Goblet squat

New to squatting? Having trouble with form or flexibility when trying to perform a squat? I give you the goblet squat. This exercise gives you the perfect foundation for a proper squat. The goblet squats are great for people who have poor ankle and wrist flexibility, tight lats (muscles of the back), and bad shoulders.

Muscles Worked

  • Quads
  • Hamstrings
  • Glutes
  • Core

Tips

  • Keep your chest up! Do not round your back.
  • Engage your core
  • Keep your knees out!!!! Do not let them fuckers cave in!

5. Step Up Jumps

If you are an athlete or want to become one, then you know that you need to include some plyometric training into your routine. A great option to add to your leg exercise routine is Jumping lunges. Jumping Lunges are a great way to increase your power, balance, and speed while also raising your heart rate and burning a ton of calories.

Muscles Worked

  • Quads
  • Hamstrings
  • Calves
  • Glutes

Tips

  • Avoid landing too hard. Land as softly as possible.
  • Engage your core!!

And there you have it, people! Some of my favorite leg exercises you can do at home for a face-melting, pedal to the metal workout. Give these exercises a try, and hopefully, you become a sadistic asshole like me and start loving leg day.
