If cooked the right way, fish can be utterly delicious. But that’s not the main reason why we eat fish. We like to eat fish (Salmon, cod, tilapia) from time to time due to the significant benefits they possess. Cod is an excellent source of healthy fats such as Omega- 3 fatty acids. Omega- 3s, in combination with the high amounts of vitamins A and D, that cod possess, may: Reduce the risk of heart disease, help heal stomach and gut ulcers, support eye health, reduce inflammation, help with RA arthritis and improve bone health.  And of course, I can complain about what recipes like this one can do for my waistline. Mac and cheese is a staple in pretty much every household in America. The problem is that mac and cheese is not very healthy. 11. Low Carb Spinach Cobb Salad

On a ketogenic diet/low carb diet? Check out these healthy low carb recipes for weight loss. These fat burning recipes are perfect ideas for lunch & dinner.

I’m not a fan of salads. It’s never going to happen for me. But, DoubleChinBurgers.com isn’t about losing weight for the sake of losing weight. The point of this website is to help you become a healthier, better version of yourself. And of course the same applies to Meli and me. That means, that at least twice a week, I have to eat a damn salad. Now, I understand that by looking at the picture above, you might utter something like, “Delwin, that salad has bacon in it, and bacon isn’t good for you.” In which I would reply 1. Don’t tell me how to live my life, Susan! And 2. BABY STEPS!!

The point of what I’m trying to say is, do not rush the process. Many of us dive headfirst into trying to build a new habit just to crash and burn 1 or 2 weeks later. If you have never eaten healthy in your life, you shouldn’t drastically alter your diet. Start by swapping an unhealthy meal with a healthier version or reduce the amount of soda you drink in a day.

That was a good rant lol.

So, to get back to this salad. It has bacon, eggs, avocado, and chicken. Four ingredients that I love. And therefore, this has become my go-to salad. Baby steps.
